It is highly prized by audiophiles and collectors for its extreme speed accuracy and heavy-duty, vibration-free build. Because it was sold primarily to radio stations and recording studios, it was sold as a standalone motor unit. Buyers had to pair it with their own choice of base (plinth) and tonearm.
