The McIntosh MC250 is a legendary, vintage solid-state stereo power amplifier manufactured by McIntosh Labs from 1967 to 1979. Celebrated as McIntosh’s very first solid-state power amplifier, it broke the conventions of early transistor gear by delivering a warm, smooth, and tube-like sound character. It is built on a heavy chrome-and-black chassis that mirrors the styling of the famous MC240 tube amplifier.
